I won’t praise this album too much, though I really want to. I can only say that, within the creative space of Grazhdanskaya Oborona, it is roughly what Forever Changes was for Love. If in Long Happy Life and Reanimation the concept was realised 200 percent, here it’s 500 percent. At the moment, this is the maximum embodiment of what I wanted to say and do.
The album is dedicated to the blessed memory of Syd Barrett and Arthur Lee — my teachers, who passed away this summer. — Egor Letov
