The album’s creation was sparked by an LSD trip after a long break, which resulted in a transformative “bad trip” that shattered Letov’s established views and unleashed an unstoppable creative flow. Inspired by solitary walks through forests and remote places, Letov recorded raw demos that later evolved into a dense, heavy-sounding album — a blend of improvisation, minimalism, and the spirit of his 1990 project Egor i Opizdenevshie, yet ultimately performed in classic Grazhdanskaya Oborona style.
This was one of Letov’s most personal works — light in tone, rich with nods to past creations, and free from the confrontational attacks of earlier records. Letov called it one of his very best albums and suggested it might be his last.
